Yoga Teaching

I have been a student of yoga practice and philosophy since the early ‘90’s, and have been teaching weekly classes since 2004,

I’m a fully certified Iyengar Yoga teacher since 2008.

Darrin McNally has been my teacher for the past twenty years. I’ve regularly studied with Iyengar Senior teacher Pixie Lilas, travelling regularly to Sydney, from 2006-2019. I work with senior Iyengar teachers when they visit Adelaide.

I am forever a student of this practice. I teach all levels and abilities; pregnancy, post-partum, supporting recovery after illness or injury, and any other challenges or restrictions that people face.

My approach in a class setting, is to take students through a sequence of poses, taught to their ability, to bring strength, flexibility and stamina, not only to the body but to the mind and Spirit. Yoga is an intense and powerful tool to assist us to integrate what it means to be in a body and align all the layers of our being. This is an ongoing journey throughout and within the eternal realms.

I am forever grateful for the gift that is this practice. I teach three classes per week, in person, at the Kensington School of Yoga in Adelaide, South Australia.
