Symptoms exist for a reason.

They are the language your body speaks,

calling you to pay attention and listen.

Work with me

An initial homeopathic consultations is 90-120 minutes long. This gives us time to look at all the factors influencing your health.

I will always ask first what is up front and centre in your life at the moment. What are your main symptoms? I will take the time to ask about each symptom. How long have you had them? What was happening in your life when these symptoms first began?

From the current symptom picture, we take the focus out wider to look at the “totality” of your life; your past history of illness, major events, past medical interventions, injuries, pharmaceuticals given and family health history; including your parents, your siblings, your children if you have them, aunts and uncles, Grandparents etc.

Some of the questions I ask might include what kind of weather you like and what temperature and climates do you prefer? Do you have any food cravings? How is your sleep quality? Are you a predominantly hot or cold person? What are your symptoms better or worse from? What are your favourite things to do? What is your perfect day and how do you spend it?

This detailed case taking is to get as much information as we can to determine what remedy or remedies you need at present. I’m looking to find what makes your symptom picture unique.

The Importance of the ‘Follow-Up’ Appointment

After the initial consultation I will want to see you about 4 to 6 weeks later for a follow up, to find out how your body is responding to the remedies. What has shifted or changed? What has improved? Have you noticed anything becoming better or worse? Do we need to adjust dosing?

Without this follow up consultation, we can’t gauge the effect the remedy is having.

Long term, chronic health conditions, often have their origins within the emotional body; stored there since early childhood or inherited tendencies from our parents and grandparents. My work focuses on observing what reveals itself after taking the remedies: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, as the pathology is lifted to the surface and released.

Life is continually challenging us, especially in the times we are moving through. Homeopathic medicine is an invaluable tool we can use to “quicken” and support us along the way. It is a day by day movement toward harmony; the ability to enjoy our life, our bodies, here on the earth.

Homeopathy also teaches us to cultivate patience while the body begins to heal. As long as we can see the body is moving in the “direction of cure” - meaning: healing occurs in the reverse order to how we developed our symptoms - we know we are moving in the right direction. The direction is not always a straight line, yet ultimately we are moving in an upward trending direction, toward permanent , thriving health, not simply masking symptoms.

As we work with the remedies, old habits and patterns will readily come into our awareness, thereby giving us an ability to learn and embody the deeper lessons. In my experience, I have found the remedies help us learn to trust the wisdom of the body and the gradual yet necessary removal of layers of ill-health, toward the fullest expression of vitality, strength and peace.

It is almost always the case that whatever has wounded you will also be instrumental in your healing

Homeopathy gives us the opportunity to reflect.

If we feel stuck in a particular pattern of recurring symptoms, homeopathy offers us a change of perspective.

We can move out of the old grooves and find a new path.
